Seattle Seahawks’ Anthony McCoy Undergoes Surgery for Achilles Injury
Anthony McCoy, tight end for the Seattle Seahawks, apparently suffered an Achilles tendon injury during team activities last Monday. The torn Achilles tendon was surgically repaired last Thursday and now McCoy is facing a lengthy recovery period before he will be able to return to the game.
Due to the injury and surgery, McCoy will be out of play for least six to nine months.
It is very important to follow your doctor’s instructions for post-surgery care if you undergo Achilles tendon surgery. McCoy will most likely be participating in physical therapy while he is out to help speed up his rehabilitation.
