Russell Crowe Suffers Injuries to Achilles Tendons and Toe During Workouts
Actor Russell Crowe has suffered injuries to both feet while running. Crowe updates his twitter followers often about his workouts and fitness regimes, but a recent update wasn’t as inspiring or impressive as his workout updates usually are. Crowe tweeted recently about injuries he has sustained due to his intensive workouts.
Apparently, the actor has sustained injuries to both Achilles tendons and a bruised big toe.
Crowe is undergoing platelet rich plasma injections to treat the injuries to his tendons and toe.
Achilles tendon injuries are common among runners and joggers. To help avoid Achilles tendon injuries, try not to push yourself too hard. Build your workout routines up gradually, and be sure to always stretch properly before you begin exercising.
Crowe’s fans are being supportive, and hopefully the actor will be back on his feet and healthy again soon.
