Pittsburgh Steelers’ Brett Keisel Struggling with Plantar Fasciitis

Brett Keisel, defensive player for the Pittsburgh Steelers, has been struggling with a common foot problem this season: plantar fasciitis.

Keisel had already missed two games due to his foot problem when he went into the game on Thanksgiving Day against the Baltimore Ravens. It was thought that Keisel was ready to play again, but apparently he either aggravated the plantar fasciitis while playing or sustained another injury and had to be taken out of that game against the Ravens.

The Steelers ended up losing that game 22-20.

Right now, there isn’t much information on the extent and seriousness of the injury Keisel suffered, and it is uncertain when Keisel will be able to return to the playing field.

Hopefully, the injury isn’t serious because his loss will be a big blow to the Steelers’ defense. We will keep our fingers crossed for a quick recovery, and we will keep you posted if we hear more about Keisel’s injury!

If you are suffering from plantar fasciitis and you haven’t seen a podiatrist yet, contact our office online or at (888) 713-0906 for an appointment. We can treat plantar fasciitis pain! It’s not something you have to live with, and there are some simple treatments we can recommend once you have an evaluation and a proper diagnosis. We are here to help.
