Oakland Athletics’ Brett Anderson Will Be in Walking Boot for another Four Weeks
Brett Anderson, pitcher for the Oakland Athletics, will be wearing a walking boot on his right foot for at least another four weeks.
Anderson is wearing the walking boot due to a stress fracture in his foot. It was announced that he had a stress fracture and would be re-evaluated in four weeks about a month ago.
He has undergone that re-evaluation and has been transferred from the 15 day disabled list to the 60 day disabled list, and it has been announced that he will be forced to continue wearing a walking boot on the foot for at least another four weeks while he heals.
Anderson will be re-evaluated again around the time of the All-Star break.
Fortunately, the Athletics are doing well even without Anderson. They are currently tied for first place in the West.
