New York Jets’ Quinton Coples Out Due to Ankle Injury
Quinton Coples, linebacker for the New York Jets, sustained an ankle injury on Saturday during a game against the Jaguars.
The injury wasn’t originally thought to be that bad, but later an announcement was made that Coples would be out indefinitely with the injury.
Apparently, Coples may have suffered a hairline ankle fracture, which could have him out of play until the start of the regular season.
However, at this point, the specifics of Coples injury aren’t clear. The Jets released in a statement that Coples would be undergoing a medical procedure, but didn’t specify what that procedure was or how long it would keep him out of play.
If the procedure the Jets spoke of was some sort of surgery, Coples may be out longer than the start of the regular season.
Hopefully, we will get more information on Coples situation soon.
