Morning Foot Pain
The most common complaint Neuhaus Foot and Ankle hears from patients is that their feet hurt when they first wake up in the morning. This tends to be followed by, "This usually goes away as the day continues so this is why I have put coming to you for my foot pain." Because this is so common, I feel that it is important to educate you on the possible conditions this pain could be from. Some of the reasons include Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendonitis, and tight ligaments. Ultimately, foot pain is not normal and you should never think that foot pain is normal. If you have any type of consistent foot pain, you should visit your local Podiatrist.
In the following video, Dr. Matthew Neuhaus gives many reasons why your feet could hurt when you wake up in the morning. We are located in the Nashville, TN area in Smyrna and Brentwood.
