Kobe Bryant Makes Comeback After Achilles Tendon Injury
It has finally happened! After months of waiting and rehabilitating from an Achilles tendon tear, basketball star Kobe Bryant made his way back onto the court to take part in a game.
This was Bryant’s first game of the season. He made nine points and had eight rebounds, and he had an amazing response from fans, who cheered him on constantly throughout the grueling and emotional game.
The excitement of Bryant’s return was slightly dampened by the fact that the Los Angeles Lakers’, Bryant’s team, lost to the Toronto Raptors 106-94, but fans don’t seem terribly disappointed by this loss. It seems everyone is just excited to see Bryant back on the court. He worked incredibly hard to get to this point so quickly, and we will keep watching as he continues to improve and gets back to his old self!
Achilles tendon injuries are common injuries in sports, and ruptures take a long time to rehabilitate after and heal properly, especially because surgery is often needed to repair the injury.
We will keep an eye out and keep you updated on Bryant’s progress as he continues to recover from this injury!
