Foot Odor is a Common Problem, But It Can Be Prevented

Foot odor is a problem that many people deal with and many of them don’t know that foot odor is something that can be prevented or at least controlled.

You can help to control your foot odor by doing a few different things:

  • Keep your feet clean to keep bacteria levels low. You can keep your feet clean by bathing them every day. Remember to make sure they are completely dry after bathing, though.
  • Look at your feet often and inspect between the toes. You want look for any skin changes or signs of fungal infections in the nails or skin.
  • Change out your shoes and socks often. You shouldn’t wear the same pair of either every day.
  • You can use a non-medicated baby powder frequently on your feet or even antibacterial ointment.

Those are just a few basic tips. If you do have foot odor in spite of following the tips above, there are various ways to treat smelly feet.
