Brooklyn Nets’ Deron Williams Dealing with an Ankle Sprain… Again
That’s right. Brooklyn Nets’ Point Guard Deron Williams is recovering from an ankle sprain and, unfortunately, he’s no stranger to this problem.
This is the third ankle sprain Williams has suffered in his left ankle just this season, and it is affecting his team. The point guard has already missed out on several games due to the injuries. And this is not the first time Williams has had trouble with his ankles. He’s suffered multiple sprains over the years, and not only in his left ankle. He’s suffered sprains in his right ankle as well.
This new sprain isn’t good news for the Nets or for Williams. At this time, it isn’t clear exactly when he will be able to return to the court, but he will definitely be missing out on the upcoming game against the Atlanta Hawks in England while he undergoes treatment for the injury.
Platelet rich plasma treatments and cortisone shots are included in William’s treatments. We wish him the best with his recovery, and we hope to see him back on the court as soon as his ankle is healed!
Ankle sprains are common in athletes, and it is important to take them seriously and treat them correctly. For more information on sprains, you can watch the video above. If you’ve suffered an ankle sprain, contact our office online or at (888) 713-0906.
