Atlanta Hawks’ Josh Smith Playing Game 2 Despite Ankle Injury
Josh Smith, forward for the Atlanta Hawks, sustained an ankle sprain during Game 1 of the playoff series. The right ankle sprain occurred during the third quarter of the game against the Pacers.
Smith missed Monday’s practice due to the injury and sought treatment, but was able to participate in a full practice on Tuesday.
Game 2 in the playoffs for the Atlanta Hawks is today, Wednesday, April 24, 2013, and Smith plans to participate in the game.
Symptoms of an ankle sprain include:
- Stiffness in the joint.
- Difficulty walking.
- Pain or soreness.
