AJ McCarron Dealing with Aftermath of Ingrown Toenail Surgery
AJ McCarron, Alabama quarterback, had quite the ordeal over Labor Weekend. McCarron was spotted wearing a walking boot due to an ingrown toenail on Friday, and the image spread quickly over social media, sending fans into an uproar.
McCarron was set to play in Saturday’s game against Virginia Tech, and fans were worried he wouldn’t be able to take part in the game. McCarron did, however, end up playing the game, which Alabama triumphed in, beating Virginia Tech 35 to 10.
Apparently, the nail had been surgically removed, and McCarron says it had no affect on his performance in the game.
McCarron continues to practice and play with no problem and seems to be doing well with recovering from the ingrown nail.
We wish him the best with his healing process and hope his ingrown toenail is gone for good!
